Zoe Bean
Zoe is a pure bred Bengal; the product of a back yard breeder having inbred their cats so badly that Zoe was born with badly deformed eyes, making her completely blind. The breeder also continued breeding Zoe, blind or not, and also had her declawed. When Zoe’s kittens were born dead or with horrible deformities, they abandoned Zoe in a high kill shelter.
This poor girl was sick, emaciated, and covered with scabs all over her body. The veterinarians thought she had mange, but it was actually the worst case of flea dermatitis the veterinarians had ever seen. One of the shelter volunteers contacted Milo’s and asked if there was any way we could take Zoe. They knew Zoe had no chance at the shelter being blind and very ill.
We agreed to take Zoe immediately took her to our veterinarian, where she spent over a week getting IV fluids, antibiotics, and baths for her infected skin. Once she was strong enough, she was spayed and came home to Milo’s ,where she was placed in the Lifetime Care Program.
Today, Zoe has a home to call her own for the rest of her life. She no longer has to worry about having babies that die as she tries to keep them alive, being sick, malnourished, and mutilated by being declawed.
Zoe is now one of the favorites at Milo’s. Her nickname is Zoe Bean (short for Zoe the Jumping Bean). She greets each and every visitor by coming up to them, placing her paws on their legs and jumping until you pick her up. If you pick her up, she immediately starts to give kisses and head butts.
With your sponsorship, Zoe will continue to get everything she needs to make sure all her kitty dreams come true.
