Walter Silverember
Walter Silverember was found as a tiny kitten outside of a linen cleaning company in Fresno, CA. He was found by a wonderful woman who saw that he was not only blind, but living solely on the scraps he could find when they shook out the linens. He was so skinny and tiny! She took him home and nursed him back to health after a trip to the veterinarian. Sadly, she couldn’t keep Walter, and drove him all the way down from Fresno to our Sanctuary.
Walter had both of his eyes removed due not only to microphthalmia and entropion, but also chronic infection. He recovered quickly and joined the blind cat crew at the Sanctuary. He loves the other cats and has given himself the job as our official greeter when we have visitors. This cute silver and white tabby loves everyone, and most of all, he loves meeting new friends and showing them all his favorite napping spots and his favorite toys when they come to visit the Sanctuary.
The only thing that would make his life complete are sponsors of his own to ensure he gets the food and medical care he will need for the remainder of his life. THANK YOU!
