Waffles Wiggletail
Waffles Wiggletail was found in the middle of the street as a tiny kitten. The family that rescued him from the street noticed immediately that there was something wrong with his eyes, and weren’t sure what to do. They didn’t have the funds to take him to the vet, so they reached out to Milo’s Sanctuary, and we agreed to take this little orange baby into our care.
We immediately took him to the vet where they confirmed what we had thought; he has microphthalmia and is completely blind. We had him fully vetted and neutered and he is now in our Lifetime Care Program.
Waffles is quite the character and loves, like most cats, to sit in boxes, the sink, and generally get into mischief with his cat friends.
Waffles gets daily medications in his eyes to prevent any infections or issues. The veterinarians do not think his eyes need to be removed as they don’t seem to bother him. We try to avoid any surgery unless necessary, and he seems healthy and content as he is.
The only thing this cute boy needs is some sponsors to help cover his eye medications, food, and anything else he will need to stay healthy, happy, and have a long life with us here at Milo’s.
