Sunflower Springmeadow
My name is Sunflower, but please call me Sunny! My nickname really suits me, or that’s what the humans say. Something about how I brighten up the room, and I know EXACTLY what they mean. I’d like to say I bring the party, I know how to have a good time, and make the humans laugh.
Milo’s Sanctuary rescued me when I was a tiny baby and thank goodness, because I was in a cold, loud, and scary shelter. I had a nasty cold that I just couldn’t kick and they took such good care of me. It wasn’t long until I felt like a brand new cat!
Fun fact about me: I have this weird dry patch on my nose. I had to go see the specialist vet and it seems I have severe food allergies that may be causing it. The worst part about it is, I LOVE food, especially if a human is eating it! But this dry patch has been a bit annoying. For now, I am on a strict diet to help eliminate anything that may be causing it.
Enough of the scientific stuff. I want to end this monologue by telling you my 3 favorite things:
1: I love to cuddle. I’ve made my mark with the humans by sleeping on their laps or their chest whenever they let me, especially Mirissa (my first friend at Milo’s) it’s been a special thing I’ve done since my first day at the sanctuary.
2: My laser pointer toy. It’s my all time favorite thing we have at the Sanctuary. I show off my cool ninja tricks when that thing comes out.
3: FOOD! I know I’m on a strict diet, but I truly cannot help myself when there’s food around. I am totally digging my new diet, but let’s be real; I’ll be happy with any snacks, hehe. I
