Rayth Ghostpaw
Rayth Ghostpaw was found wandering in the desert. He’d managed to survive long enough to find a feral colony, where he was living until some kind people got together to rescue him. He is FAR from feral and we believe back yard breeders were using him and dumped him in the desert when he became ill.
His eyes were so badly infected that the pus had sealed them shut. He spent a few days at our vet getting IV fluids (he was horribly dehydrated from being the desert in the middle of summer) and getting lots of food, medications, and great TLC.
He went directly to his Lifetime Care Foster home and a few weeks later had his eyes removed (he was born blind) to avoid any further infections and pain. He recovered quickly and gained some much needed weight.
Rayth is settling into his Lifetime Care home and still a little scared by loud noises. He’s now learning his way around and how to play for the first time in his life. He loves his little red ball and his catnip mouse. Most of all, he enjoys the affection, love, safety, and security that he will know for the remainder of his life.
All he needs to make his life perfect are sponsors to make sure he has all the food, medical care, and anything else he requires.
