Mookie Monkeypaws
Mookie Monkeypaws was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles, blind, sick, and very hungry. A kind woman found her, took her in, and realized quickly that Mookie must have been someone’s cat; She was super-friendly and already spayed.
She searched for her human for quite a while and when no one stepped up to claim this adorable, many-toed girl, she knew she needed more help with Mookie then she could give. She reached out to Milo’s Sanctuary, and one look at that little face and the big mitts, and we were smitten.
Mookie was born with deformed eyes and they were constantly infected, causing her to be very uncomfortable, so our veterinarians agreed that removing them would be the best thing to do for her. She recovered quickly from her surgery and was soon running around with the other foster cats, playing and enjoying life.
Mookie can be a little bossy with the other cats as she thinks she is the queen around Milo’s. Mookie is so cute and very petite and often gets her own way.
The only thing Mookie could possibly wish for is her own sponsors so she always has everything she needs for a long and happy life here at Milo’s Sanctuary.
