Hermoine Starglimmer
Hermoine is blind, deaf, and neurological yet super sweet and gentle. She loves cuddles and talks a lot to herself, the other cats, the humans, and anyone who will listen.
She also sometimes gets overstimulated and when she does, she walks in circles. When this happens, we very gently pet and talk to her (yes, even though she’s deaf). Being blind and deaf, she’s very tactile. We have what we call her “crunchy pads”, which are soft blankets that have a filling that makes a crackling noise when walked upon. We put her on them and she immediately calms down. She was found by a good Samaritan as a tiny kitten in the center of a busy street walking in circles.
