Gridley Gobblechops

Gridley Gobblechops, or “Griddle-Cakes” as he is known around the Sanctuary, was rescued from a high kill shelter in Los Angeles. He was a tiny, very sick little kitten who cowered in the back of his cage and refused to eat or drink.
When we got him to our veterinarian’s office, he was very weak and had a horrible upper respiratory infection. After two weeks of antibiotics, force feeding, love and care, he started to eat on his own. One day, Gridley started to meow for love, then the purr! After that, he became the friendliest little kitten in the house.
We had to have Gridley’s eyes removed when he was neutered as he was born blind. Instead of
eyes, he had badly deformed tissue that kept getting infected. We know he felt better after the
surgery as he became even MORE friendly and happy.
Gridley LOVES people his cat friends at the Sanctuary too. He enjoys playing with everyone when
he’s not napping or begging for treats.
The only thing Gridley needs to make his life complete is sponsors to ensure a long, happy, and healthy
life at Milo’s Sanctuary in our Lifetime Care Program.
