Hello, I’m Connie; I am the Director of Communications at Milo’s Sanctuary, and this is Wally Wigglesworth. Wally came to Milo’s Sanctuary when he was just 5 days old after his mom had been killed. His other siblings were also rescued. Michele , the founder of Milo’s Sanctuary, bottle fed he and his brother. I first met Wally when he was about a year old and we instantly bonded. He has been my soul cat ever since and I could not imagine my life without him.
Giving Tuesday is such an important day for Milo’s Sanctuary. Without your support, orphaned kittens, abandoned, abused and special needs cats wouldn’t get a second chance at life. It’s only through your kindness and giving hearts that we can continue to save lives and also continue to feed, house, and supply medical attention to those that we have already saved. I’ve been involved with Milo’s Sanctuary for over a decade now. Volunteering, fostering, fundraising and serving as a member of the Board of Directors. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure and honor of supporting the Milo’s Mission: Providing second chances.
The work Milo’s does is important to the community, the cats and kittens we save, the education and awareness we provide and the difference we make. All of this is a big part of why Milo’s is important to me, but I have to be honest – it’s the friendships I’ve made along the way that make it so special! From our Founder Michele and my fellow Board Members, to the volunteers, sponsors, and followers. Everyone gives so much of their heart, time and creativity.
