Beatrice Bumblekit

Beatrice Bumblekit has come a long way. This little blind orange fluff ball came all the way from Cairo, Egypt. She was born blind, with badly deformed eyes. Living on the streets of Cairo is tough enough for a sighted cat. For Beatrice, it was much worse.
Beatrice had no name, no family, and no one to love or take care of her. Feeling her way as best she could along the dangerous crowded streets, she was starving, sick, and being abused by humans on a daily basis.
A small, underfunded rescue in Cairo found her and took her in, but they knew they could not care for her or get her the medical care she required. They contact Milo’s Sanctuary and we agreed to take her and two other blind cats from Egypt.
Beatrice arrived safe and sound and was immediately taken to our vets where she was given a check-up, spayed, had her deformed infected eyes removed, and was given all the other medical care she needed.
At first, she was terrified in her new foster home, unsure about everyone and everything. She was learning a new way of life, a new language, and all about her new foster brother and sisters. Beatrice now negotiates the entire house like she’s been there forever. She loves her foster siblings and can be found dosing in the sun, drinking water from a fountain or playing with the many toys laying around.
By sponsoring Beatrice, you help to guarantee that she will always have everything she needs to continue to have a long, happy, and healthy life surrounded by people who love her.
