Barnaby Seamist
Hi! My name is Barnaby Seamist. I was born on an island called Roatan, near Honduras. A kind person returning to California offered to be my “flight parent”. and I made the very long journey to my forever home with Milo’s Sanctuary.
I’m a super- tiny fella (I’m six months old and weigh about 3 lbs). I walk funny and hate to be held. I love food and eat 3 meals a day plus bedtime snacks!! My foster mom, Michele, took me to a neurologist to learn more about me. He told us I have vestibular issues, which is why I don’t like to be held. It causes my head to hurt and when you put me down, I look like a rolly-poly bug and kinda tuck my head to my chest, so I have to be handled carefully.
I don’t let any of this get in the way of playing with my BFF’s Theo and Squeaker. I love spending time in the super-fluffy beds with my mousie toy. Several of the adult cats love to cuddle and groom me too.
People tell me I’m very cute, sweet, and extremely talkative. I really need some sponsors so I can go to the specialist vet and find out why I’m not growing. If you can sponsor this island boy, I will happily share my mousie toy and snacks with you!!!
