Princess Freddie

Greetings, everyone! My name is Princes Freddie ,but you can just call me Freddie and yes, I am a girl. What a pleasure it is to meet each and everyone of you! If you’ve stumbled across my story, you are in for a pretty good tale. My story is somewhat of a mystery, but trust me when I say the ending is the best part.
I started my journey as a Princess in a dungeon like no other. It was high kill shelter… yes, a HIGH KILL SHELTER. It was guarded by dragons and I waited for the day my prince or princess would come and take me away.
To my surprise, a lady in shining armor came and saved me from my dungeon. She became my foster mother and she gave me a second chance at life. What she didn’t know was I am not like any other Princess she had met before. Though she adored me for all of my differences, she knew I was going to need ongoing medical treatment and to be with someone who understood my medical problems. I was born with spinal and leg defects and I have hyperthyroidism (which means daily medication) and requires I be closely monitored. I have no idea how I developed these medical problems; all I knew then was that I was never going to be locked away again. My foster mother reached out to this magical land known as Milo’s Sanctuary because she wanted to make sure I was safe, loved, and cared for the rest of my life.
Milo’s became the castle I had always dreamed of. I sleep on heated beds, eat lots of treats, and get showered in love everyday. I can be a little spicy, but no one said Princesses had to be nice all the time. I think I am sugar, spice, and everything nice. I love to lay in front of the fireplace on my soft fuzzy bed and if you ask me, that is how royalty should be treated. The best part is I also have my own throne and even if I don’t wear a crown, I am treated like a true Princess.
My story is not the princess tales people often read as children. My purpose in life is to rewrite the narrative for what a princess can be. Everyone is worth saving from the dungeon and we all deserve a happy ending.
