Birdie Whispersong

Picture
This angelic little girl looks like a child’s drawing of their beloved cat. Birdie was born with hydrocephalus and showed up in a local shelter that Milo’s partners with, we happily took her in, she was about 5 weeks old at that time.
She is as sweet and gentle as she looks, super tiny for her age she is small but tough and can hold her own when playing with her BFF Bumble. When a new person comes to visit she runs up to them and in her small chirping voice greets them warmly, people are immediately smitten with this little girl and how could you not be?
After a visit with our neurologist it was deemed she had moderate hydrocephalus and likely wouldn’t need a shunt but would need to be on twice daily medications to help to control the pressure in her head.
If she’s not greeting visitors or playing with Bumble, you will find her checking up on the other cat residents to make sure all is good with them, only when she’s satisfied she will go curl up in a soft bed or in a sunspot to take a well-deserved nap.
Birdie gives so much love and care to everyone and has never met another animal or a human she doesn’t immediately love. We would love to give back to Birdie in the way of sponsors to ensure she gets her twice daily medications and visits to the neurologist to make sure she’s healthy and happy.
