SAMMY

Sammy was rescued from a local shelter when one of the shelter volunteers contacted us and told us that this boy was about to be euthanized. He had been at the shelter for weeks and had little hope of being adopted since no one wanted a blind cat. Well, we did! This darling boy is not only friendly, loving and funny, but he's one of the best conversationalists we ever met.

The shelter volunteer told us that his owner brought him into the shelter and left him because "he was tired of having a blind cat and wanted a 'normal' one." Well, Sammy's about as normal of a cat as you can get. He climbs, runs, plays and does everything else a 'normal' cat can do; probably better to boot!

Everyone loves Sammy because of his easy going and friendly nature; even the cats that don't like other cats love Sammy. We love him too, and are lucky to have him in our long term foster program. He appreciates the generosity and kindness of anyone who sponsors him, and would like you to know he is a great correspondent and story teller!
